Stubby

Stubby is the kind of pup who believes that if you're a person, you're probably his new best friend. He's a delightful, people-focused young boy who absolutely adores his humans and is happiest when he's getting attention, affection and, ideally, a snack or two.

At six months old, Stubby is still figuring out this whole being a dog business - and one of his current lessons is that good manners get you far more rewards than launching yourself at people like a furry little missile!

The good news? Stubby is already starting to catch on, and his new family can help him continue learning with plenty of positive reinforcement, consistency and patience. He's a clever, affectionate pup who will thrive with people willing to show him what's expected and celebrate his successes.

Stubby would love a calm, confident family with experience with larger dogs. At around 25kg now, he's already a solid boy, but he has plenty of growing left to do - so his future family should be comfortable living with a big, enthusiastic teenager in the making!

He'd also be delighted to have a calm and confident canine companion to help show him the ropes, although having another dog isn't essential.

Most of all, Stubby is looking for people who will give him the time, guidance and encouragement he needs to grow into the wonderful adult dog we know he can be.
