Meet Camellia 🌸💕
Camellia is an absolutely adorable girl with the sweetest nature. She loves being around people and is happiest when she can be close by, keeping you company. She is a gentle, affectionate girl who will happily be your little shadow and brighten your days with her beautiful personality.

Camellia has had her back leg amputated, but that certainly doesn't stop her from being a loving and wonderful companion. Her new family will just need to provide a little extra care and consideration to help her stay comfortable, safe and confident.

As a three-legged cat, Camellia may need some adjustments to help her navigate her new home comfortably. Her adopter should consider:

Providing easy access to food, water and her litter tray, especially while she adjusts to her new surroundings.
Choosing a litter tray with a low entry so she can get in and out easily.
Giving her non-slip surfaces where possible, particularly on smooth flooring.
Providing comfortable, easily accessible beds and resting spots.
Making sure favourite areas, such as windowsills or couches, are safely accessible without requiring large jumps.
Keeping her at a healthy weight, as maintaining a healthy body weight is particularly important for reducing strain on her remaining legs and joints.
Allowing her time to build strength, balance and confidence as she settles into her new home.
Keeping her indoors and providing a safe environment where she cannot overexert herself or injure her remaining limbs.
Continuing with regular veterinary care and monitoring her mobility, comfort and overall condition.
Camellia may need a little more thought and consideration than some cats, but in return she has so much love and companionship to give. She deserves a patient and caring family who will see past her missing leg and appreciate the beautiful, affectionate girl she is.
