This sweet girl started her foster journey very shy and unsure, but watching her confidence grow has been pretty special.

Morticia has been making some huge strides in foster care. She's now confidently exploring the house without slinking around, spending more and more time out with everyone, and happily accepting pats outside of her usual safe spaces. She's even started joining her foster carer on the couch, sitting beside them and occasionally deciding that their lap looks like a pretty good place to be!

She's also recently allowed her foster carer to pick her up, which is a pretty big milestone for a little girl who once found people quite intimidating.

Around her cat friends, you'll see another side of Morticia altogether. She loves wrestling and chasing them around, playing with wand toys, and has discovered her voice with adorable little chirps and the occasional tiny meow at breakfast time.

While Morticia has come such a long way, moving into a new environment will be another big change for her, and she may take a few steps backwards while she finds her feet. She'll need someone patient and gentle who won't rush her and will let her build a relationship at her own pace.

Morticia might not walk through your front door and immediately own the place, but she's already shown us just how much she can blossom when she feels safe. Give her a feline friend, a little patience and the chance to trust you, and you might just find this once shy little girl curled up beside you on the couch before you know it.
