Meet Dubois, a wonderfully happy and affectionate dog whose enthusiasm for life is impossible not to love! Dubois is an endlessly smiley boy who is always ready for his next adventure, whether that means heading out for a walk, exploring somewhere new or simply being by his favorite humans. He absolutely yearns for human contact and thrives on being part of the family.

An important consideration: when it comes to other dogs, Dubois requires gentle exposure. If the dogs already reside in the house, he is great as he associates them as family. With other dogs on the street, he will pull to get close, and his next move is purely dependent on the other dog’s mood. He will mirror. Going forward, gentle exposure to new dogs is the best approach.

One of the things that makes Dubois so special is his wonderful duality. He has an infectious excitement for getting out and about, but is just as enthusiastic about coming home for a big cuddle. Once he has had his adventure for the day, Dubois is more than happy to settle in beside his people and enjoy some quality snuggle time

Dubois may take a few days to feel completely at home, but once he settles in, he quickly makes himself very comfortable — sometimes a little too comfortable! He has a real talent for finding the comfiest spot in the house, even if that happens to be your favorite place on the sofa. After all, why should the humans get the best seat?

Dubois would love a home where he can enjoy regular walks, plenty of human companionship and, most importantly, be treated as a much-loved member of the family. In return, he’ll bring endless smiles, affection and enthusiasm to his new home.
