About Tony
Meet sweet Tony. 💙
Tony is a gentle little soul looking for a quiet retirement home where he can enjoy all the comforts he deserves. He loves being close to his people, is happiest pottering around the house or curled up for a snooze, and has so much love left to give.
Tony does come with a few medical considerations. He has age-related heart disease and takes lifelong Cardisure medication twice daily, so his future family will need to be prepared for the ongoing cost of medication and routine veterinary check-ups. He also has ongoing skin allergies that are being managed conservatively and moderate dental disease which his vets are happy to monitor while he remains comfortable.
Tony’s foster carer has been working on his toilet training and he’s been doing really well! He’ll just need his new family to continue supporting him with a consistent routine to keep up his great progress.
Tony is friendly with other dogs and would be happy as an only dog or with a calm companion. Because he can be sensitive with handling, particularly around his head and paws, we're looking for an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teenagers.
