Hi there, I’m Darcy, a sweet girl with a warm coat and a big heart.

I cherish soft sounds, sunlit corners, and the little discoveries of every day. I’m not loud or jumpy; I’m the kind of dog who savors a calm morning walk followed by a long stretch in a sunbeam. I like to take things slowly, and I’ll meet you where you are with a patient wag and a hopeful sigh—ready to build something steady together.

I'm happy with a slow walk, a curious sniff, and then a long nap in a cozy spot. I’m happiest when there are older kids around, ideally 15 and up.

Who would be the best match for me? A person or family who can give me time to settle, with predictable routines and a gentle pace. I’ll do best with a home where meetings with any resident dogs happen before a new chapter starts. I’m adaptable but need encouragement in new surroundings, so a calm, patient household would help me shine. I don’t require a special yard, and I’m comfortable indoors and outdoors, as long as there’s a safe space to retreat to when I need a breath. Because I’m a moderate energy dog, I’d be happy with a home that balances activity with quiet time. Could you be the one to share your life with me?
