About Theo - 4 Year Old French Bulldog
Meet Theo
Theo is a gorgeous 4-year-old French Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger love for his people.
He is incredibly cuddly, affectionate and people-focused. Theo loves being close to his humans, getting cuddles and being part of the family. He is wonderful with children of all ages and has never shown aggression towards a person.
Theo is a lovely, quiet boy at home and is house trained, however he has been marking on things recently. His new family will need to provide patience, consistency and guidance around this as he settles into his new home.
He sleeps inside on his own dog bed at the foot of his owner’s bed and travels really well in the car, where he mostly sleeps. He enjoys his chew toys and loves chasing a ball, although he hasn’t quite mastered bringing it back.
Theo needs to be the only dog in his new home. While he has lived happily with a female French Bulldog, he has unfortunately not been able to live peacefully with a male dog.
Theo is also reactive on lead. When he sees other dogs, he can bark, lunge and become worked up. He will need an owner who is confident and capable of managing and controlling this behaviour, while also working with him to help him become more comfortable and make better choices around other dogs. For this reason, children should not be responsible for walking Theo.
Theo requires a strict grain-free and chicken-free diet as he doesn’t react well to either. He currently eats grain-free kibble in the morning, followed by rice, vegetables and salmon, tuna or sardines for dinner.
