About Matilda
Meet Matilda š¾
Matilda is a gorgeous senior Border Collie who proves that age is just a number! This lovely girl is still full of life, enthusiasm, and energy, and she's always ready to join in on whatever adventure the day brings.
One of Matilda's favourite things in the world is a good game of fetch. Whether it's a tennis ball, a toy, or anything she can chase, she's happiest when she's out and about having fun with her people. Her playful spirit and zest for life make her a joy to be around.
Matilda knows what she likes and would love to be the centre of attention in her new home. She is best suited as the only dog in the household, where she can enjoy all the love, affection, and toys without having to share. Being the undisputed champion of the home is exactly how Matilda likes it!
In return, Matilda will reward her family with loyal companionship, plenty of laughs, and endless affection. She is looking for a home that will appreciate her playful nature and give her the chance to enjoy her golden years surrounded by love.
If you're looking for a bright, active, and devoted companion who still has plenty of adventures left to share, Matilda could be the perfect match for you.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
