About Lily
Meet Lily, a sweet and gentle soul currently looking for her forever home at The Lost Dogs' Home! Poor Lily was found as a stray wandering the streets of Braybrook, and sadly, no one ever came forward to claim her. But her story doesn't end there; she is now ready for a fresh start with a family who will cherish her.
Despite looking like a regular-sized Border Collie X at first glance, Lily is actually surprisingly tiny, weighing in at just 14 kilograms. Because she is such a petite and charming little dog, she is expected to find her new home in no time at all. If you are interested in welcoming her into your life, you will want to make your way to the shelter as soon as possible to meet her before she is snapped up!
Having been through a whirlwind of changes over the past couple of weeks, Lily can be just the slightest bit timid right now. Because of this, her new people will need to take things slow and allow her to settle in and get comfortable at her own pace. Once she knows she is safe, her loving personality truly shines through. Lily would do best in a home with secondary school-aged children and older who can understand and respect her need for a gentle introduction.
It's important to note that Lily wasn't properly socialized with other dogs as a puppy, which means she prefers to be the queen of her castle. She doesn't get along well with other dogs and will need to be the only dog in her home, where she can soak up all of your love and attention all to herself. If you have the patience, time, and a quiet lap to offer this special little girl, Lily is ready to repay you with a lifetime of loyalty. Come down to the shelter today to meet your new best friend!
