Say hello to Hewie, an absolute sweetheart who is currently looking for his forever home at The Lost Dogs' Home! Poor Hewie was found as a stray wandering around Keilor Downs, and sadly, no one ever came forward to claim him. Despite his rough start, this charming young boy hasn't let it dampen his spirits and is more than ready to find a family who will cherish him forever.

Hewie is a total love bug who adores being around people and soaking up all the affection he can get. Because he can still be working through some boundaries and learning the ropes, he would thrive best in an adults-only home where he can get all the guidance and focused attention he needs. All the staff at the shelter are completely smitten with him, and it is easy to see why! His affectionate nature and charming personality win everyone over instantly!

When it comes to his doggy peers, Hewie is fantastic. He is very good and social with other dogs, making him a great companion if you are out and about with dog-friendly friends. Additionally, our behavior department has been working closely with him to build his confidence with handling, wearing a harness, and walking nicely on a leash. Sweet little Hewie has made amazing strides in his training very quickly, proving just how smart and eager to please he is.
