Meet Freddie 😍
Freddie is a large Oriental mix with a confident personality and a strong preference for human company. He is a chatty cat who enjoys interacting with people and is very affectionate once he gets to know you.
Despite being a senior cat, Freddie remains engaged and enjoys attention, cuddles and spending time with his people. He would suit a home where he can receive plenty of companionship and interaction.
Freddie has a tendency to overgroom, so his new family will need to monitor his grooming habits and ensure his ongoing medical needs are managed appropriately.
Freddie would suit someone looking for an affectionate, people-oriented senior cat who enjoys being involved in daily life.
Medical notes
Freddie became a bit stressed when he came into our care. As a result, he began overgrooming himself. He is currently on pregabalin to help him adjust to the changes in his living situation.
We have also recently commenced a food trial to rule out allergies causing him to overgroom (Royal Canin Hyoallergenic).

Before visiting the Community Animal Shelter and Animal Pound please call to arrange an appointment with one of our friendly staff prior to your visit.
