Meet Janet!

Janet is a sweet and gentle 4 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback x Staffy who is looking for a loving home where she can continue to grow in confidence and enjoy all the pats she deserves.

Janet can be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, Janet is a loving girl who really enjoys attention, affection and a good pat.

Janet would be best suited to a home with secondary school aged children or older. Young children may be a little overwhelming for her, so she'll thrive with a family who understands her need for patience, space and gentle interactions. Janet may also be able to live with another dog, depending on a successful meet and greet at the shelter.

Her new family should be prepared to continue force-free training and plenty of positive reinforcement, particularly around handling. Helping Janet build her confidence at her own pace will be an important part of setting her up for success.
