A friendly and happy kitten found in a large stray colony, Taro's a professional house kitty these days - he loves nothing more than being doted on and adored!
Though he's a couch potato at heart, he'll immediately spring into action at the sound of a cat wand or the crinkle of a creamy treat. And while he puts on a tough-guy act with new people, he's easily won over by endless bum pats and head scratches :)
The definition of a love bug, Taro also adores sleeping next to your head on your pillow or in your lap on the couch. He likes the company of other cats too, but only if they aren't the bossy type and play nice!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Taro is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'd love a family that spoils me with attention, playtime and treats! I'm super playful but also enjoy being patted and cuddled to sleep.
Because I can be a bit cautious, I'm hoping to find a patient home where I'll be allowed to explore and blossom at my own pace. I'd adore a feline friend too, provided they're friendly like me!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm equal parts playful and affectionate. You'll find me snoozing throughout the day, but if you tempt me with a cat wand, I'll be up in a flash! I'll only stop playing when you put the toy away. Otherwise I'm unstoppable! I'm quite the silly boy :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any children yet, but my sensitive nature is best suited to adults only (16+).
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I get along wonderfully well with other cats who bolster my confidence, not undermine it. Dominant cats probably won't be a good match unfortunately.
Not sure about dogs - they're a mystery to me at this stage!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
