Meet Ernie a gorgeous blonde kelpie cross who has just arrived to us from the pound. He has settled into his foster home quickly showing what an adaptable young man he is.
He is very dog friendly, learning his basic commands and house trained. He is happy running around in the backyard with his foster brother but is just as happy chilling out in the lounge room with his people.
Ernie is looking for a home where he will be treated as part of the family, with companionship, sensible exercise, continued training and plenty of affection. He has all the makings of someone's very devoted best mate.
His foster mum describes him as a bit of a goofball and says he is "the dumbest smart dog" that she has met.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
