🐾 Hi, I’m Lexi!
I’m Lexi, a 6-month-old Staghound × Kelpie, and I’m a friendly, social girl who is dog friendly AND cat friendly. I attend doggy daycare and absolutely love having the opportunity to socialise, play and burn off some of my energy.
And believe me — I have plenty of energy! I’m a busy girl who doesn’t particularly want to sit still when I could be running, playing and exploring instead. I’d love an active home where I can get out, stretch my legs and be included in everyday life.
I’ve lived with children previously and have had no concerns with them. I can be very boisterous though, so my new family will need to understand that right now I’m an enthusiastic young dog without a lot of manners!
I was rehomed because I was too boisterous, but the truth is, I simply haven’t had anyone really teach me what I’m supposed to do yet. I’m only six months old and I need someone who is willing to put the time into my training rather than expecting me to arrive knowing all the rules.
The good news is that I’m smart and very food motivated, so I have a great foundation for learning. Give me consistency, clear boundaries, plenty of exercise and some tasty rewards, and there’s no reason I can’t grow into a fantastic adult dog.
I need someone who is ready to commit to teaching me. I’m young, social, clever, energetic and full of potential — I just need someone willing to channel all that enthusiasm in the right direction.

Adoption details
All animals adopted from Goulburn Valley Pet Adoption & Rehoming come with a 1 month trial period. This trial period is to ensure your new family member has enough time to settle into their new environment, and you can both be sure it's the right fit. During this time, do not hesitate to get in contact with us if there are any issues, concerns or questions. If for whatever reason, you decide during the trial period that it's not the right fit, get in contact with us and we will take the animal back into our care, and your adoption fee will be refunded to you. Also, if at anytime during the course of your pets life, you are unable to care for them anymore, we will happily welcome them back.
