About Spud
Spud is a beautiful, sensitive boy looking for a very special family willing to put in the time and work to earn his trust.
Spud is extremely anxious and shut down around people, often freezing when someone is nearby. He will need significant ongoing support, patience and time to decompress and slowly build his confidence.
Another dog makes a huge difference for Spud, and when he feels safe, glimpses of his playful puppy personality begin to shine through. Because of this, he must go to a home with a confident, friendly resident dog.
Spud has a long journey ahead of him, but for a family willing to meet him where he is, helping him learn to feel safe will be incredibly rewarding.

Fill out our online adoption application and tell us a bit about yourself and what you're looking for. We'll take a look and reach out, and if we think it might be a match we'll set up a meet and greet so you can test things out in person. ✨
If everyone's vibing our rebel comes to you on a trial adoption so everyone gets time to properly settle in. And we don't just ghost you after that, we're here for ongoing support every step of the way 🐾
