Hello, I’m Emmy!
I’m living proof that you don’t need long legs to go far in life.
I know I look a little like a Rottweiler who’s been shrunk in the wash, but I promise, I’m meant to
be this size.
What I do know is that I may be short in the leg department, but I’m definitely not short on
personality. They say good things come in small packages, and I’m here to prove them right. I’m
ridiculously cute, playful and have some pretty excellent house manners. I don’t make messes
inside or chew things up, although I do like to use my voice when I hear something suspicious.
But i’m also very much down to earth. Not just literally. I absolutely love a good snuggle and will
happily spend the day curled up beside you on the couch. I don't need much exercise. Give me
about 15 minutes of walking and my little legs are drained for the day.
I’d be very happy in a small home without a huge backyard because, frankly, I’m not planning on
using most of it. As long as I get my little walk, plenty of love and everything I need, I’m happy to
entertain myself while you’re out.
I don't have the best manners with other dogs, so I would be suited best to a single dog home.
Cats though? I absolutely adore them. I get the biggest little body wiggles and immediately want
to be their best friend. The cats, unfortunately, are not always enthusiastic about it. But I remain
optimistic.
So if you’re looking for a semi-sentient couch cushion with a big personality and an even bigger
heart, I might be your girl. I'll be your compact companion if you promise to bring me all the
snuggle and scratches.

Adoption details
Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
