Reacher is your typical boisterous teenage boy—full of energy, enthusiasm and absolutely no concept of personal space!

Reacher LOVES people and would ideally be included in everything you do. He wants to be part of the action and thrives on human company. He has met a few other dogs and has shown a preference for females. He can, however, be a little protective of his food, so this is something his future family will need to continue working on.

When Reacher first came into care, he had very little understanding of boundaries or what was (and wasn't!) appropriate to chew—shoes were definitely on his list of acceptable chew toys! Thankfully, he is learning quickly and improving every day.

Despite his youthful energy, Reacher has some great qualities. He doesn't dig or chew things outside, and can be left alone for extended periods of time without becoming destructive.

Reacher is a lovable, goofy teenager who is still learning the ropes. With continued guidance, consistency and plenty of positive reinforcement, he has all the makings of a wonderful companion. He would love a family who can help him learn, keep him active and, most importantly, let him be part of the family.
