Nature
Romulus found himself homeless at a rural pound, but thanks to some wonderful Angels, he was flown down to the big smoke - and this handsome boy has taken the whole adventure completely in his stride!

Romulus is calm, confident and incredibly curious. Nothing much seems to phase him, and he is very keen to investigate his new surroundings. In fact, Romulus considers himself your personal supervisor!

Whether you're getting ready for work, cleaning the litter tray or making dinner, he wants to be involved. And whatever you do, please don't close a door between you and Romulus - he will let you know, very vocally, that he would much rather be where the action is!

Romulus adores attention, especially a good scratch under the chin. He'll happily bask in the attention and enjoy every second of it. He's not quite a lap cat, but he does love curling up on the bed or sofa beside you for a cosy snooze, making biscuits happily.

He's also a fairly relaxed gentleman who seems perfectly content to spend much of his day resting and snoozing, and hasn't seemed too interesting in playing so far.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Romulus has already met his feline foster siblings and has taken them completely in his stride. He doesn't seem particularly bothered by the other cats, but isn't too interested in being besties with them either, so he could suit a home with a friendly feline companion or be your one-and-only kitty (he would absolutely soak up the attention).

He hasn't met children or dogs, but given his calm, confident and easy-going nature, we think he may be okay living with cat-savvy children and cat-friendly dogs, provided introductions are done thoughtfully.

Likes / Dislikes
Romulus loves:
❤️ Chin scratches
❤️ Food, including yours!
❤️ Being near his people
❤️ Supervising everything you do
❤️ Exploring and investigating
❤️ Snoozing beside you on the bed or sofa
❤️ Drinking from the shower (and occasionally requesting that you turn it on for him)

He's not a fan of:
🚫 Closed doors separating him from his people (he will cry out for you)
🚫 The vacuum, but will tolerate it from afar

Romulus doesn't mind being picked up, but his real love language is simply being close by and receiving plenty of scratches and attention.

My PURR-fect home would be a loving home where I can be part of the family. I don't need constant entertainment - I'm perfectly happy snoozing nearby while you go about your day - but I do want to be included! Whether I'm your one-and-only or you have a friendly furry companion, I would love a peaceful home where I can explore, supervise, snooze, demand shower water and receive plenty of chin scratches.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
