About Nestor
Nestor is a beautiful little baby who had a tough start to life. He came to the rescue with severe cat flu. You wouldn't recognise him now from the sick little baby that arrived here. He's recovered so well!
He came in with six other babies, and now he's the last one left (everyone else has been adopted) and he's all lonely. He's the last one left because when people he doesn't recognise come into the house, he scooches behind the couch. New people are scary! He needs some nice quiet people who will give him the benefit of the doubt and know that true love is earned with patience and care.
Nestor loves other cats and loves hanging out with Gerald, one of the long term foster cats here. He chases Gerald's tail and Gerald gently plays with him and licks him in return. It's so cute!
He's not at all bothered by the foster dog in the house. If the dog has it's leash on, then Nestor likes to chase it around.
Nestor is beautiful and playful, and just needs a chance in his forever home.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via

2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
