Prada is a beautiful black-and-white girl with a gentle soul, a shy nature, and a serious appreciation for the finer things in life: pats, warm fuzzy beds, and making biscuits! 🐾

Prada came into our care as a stray. Although she clearly had experience being around people, she wasn't microchipped or desexed and had been living outdoors, where she was unfortunately exposed to FIV. She has now tested positive and is looking for a very different life-one where she can stay safe, strictly indoors and cozy.

Prada is understandably nervous in the shelter and has been too shy to socialize with the other cats, so we don't know yet how she'd feel about sharing her home. She could potentially be happy with a calm, friendly FIV-positive feline companion after careful introductions, but she may be just as content being your one-and-only.

Children aren't Prada's cup of tea, so she's looking for a quiet adult home, or perhaps a home with older teenagers who understand that shy cats need patience, space and time to build trust.

Once Prada feels safe, you'll discover some very sweet little glimpses of the cat underneath that nervous exterior. Give her a warm, fluffy bed and she'll happily settle in, and those little paws may soon be kneading away as she makes biscuits. Add some gentle pats and you're well on your way to winning her heart.

Prada doesn't need someone to rush her-she needs someone willing to let her take things at her own pace and show her that life can be safe, warm and predictable.

For the right person, watching Prada slowly blossom will be incredibly rewarding. She's ready to trade the uncertainty of outdoor life for a warm bed, gentle pats and a forever home where she can finally relax. 🖤🐾
