About Whiskey
Whiskey is a happy, affectionate and playful boy who loves being around his people and enjoying life. He is a bouncy, energetic companion who would thrive with a family ready to continue building his confidence and helping him discover the world at his own pace.
He would love a home with a secure yard where he can safely stretch his legs, play and enjoy some enrichment. Whiskey may be suited to older children, teenagers or adults who can appreciate his lively personality and give him space to settle when needed.
He could potentially go home with a friendly dog or cat, pending a successful and careful meet and greet, with introductions managed slowly and thoughtfully.
Whiskey would suit a family who are physically confident handling a strong, boisterous dog on lead and are excited to continue his training and confidence building. With patience, guidance and plenty of love, Whiskey is sure to be a wonderful companion.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
