Meet Salty 🐾
🐶 Personality:
Salty is a sweet, affectionate girl with a lovely nature. She absolutely loves her people and, once she trusts you, she is cuddly, playful and loves being close to her humans. She can take a little while to warm up to some new people, but once you're in her circle, she is a very loving girl. Salty loves getting out and about and enjoys her walks, adventures and the occasional zoomie or two! She does have doggy friends that she likes to play with but she likes new dogs to give her some space when meeting them. Salty is an alert barker and will be sure to let you know when someone is visiting or if something is hanging around the house.
🎓 Training:
Salty is house trained, crate trained, walks beautifully on lead and knows her basic commands as well as some fun tricks. She is a clever girl who responds well to her trusted people and enjoys getting out for walks and adventures. She will thrive in a home with an experienced owner who can provide her with consistency, routine and clear boundaries. She'd love a home that can offer her plenty of play, daily adventures and ongoing training.
🏠 Perfect Home:
Salty needs a home with a spacious yard as her yard is her happy place. Salty is looking for an experienced dog owner who understands nervous dogs and can give her the time and space she needs to build trust with new people. She needs an owner who can advocate for her to ensure new people & dogs give her space. She needs an adult-only home as she cannot be trusted around young children. Having only ever lived as an only dog, she would likely do best continuing to be the only dog in the home, particularly as she resource guards food and toys from other dogs. A home with another dog may be considered if the person is experienced & confident dealing with resource guarding. She would need a proper introduction.
Salty is being rehomed through our Assisted Rehoming Program. Her new home will need to be in or around Coffs Harbour, or close enough to travel to Coffs Harbour to collect her.
