URGENT: BANDIT NEEDS OUR HELP
Bandit is a 7-year-old Boxer currently in a Melbourne pound, and we urgently need to find a way to get this beautiful boy to safety.
Bandit’s situation is a little different from many dogs we help. We have been working to understand his individual needs and ensure we find the right placement for him, not just the first one available.
When Bandit arrived, he had a number of significant health concerns, including severe ear infections, pressure sores, sore paws, irritated eyes and several lumps.
The good news is that Bandit has made incredible progress.
His ear infections have resolved, his skin is much improved and, thankfully, all of the lumps were found to be benign cysts.
His conjunctivitis has also resolved, although his eyes will be rechecked to ensure everything is completely clear. At this stage, it is thought that his appearance may simply be related to the characteristic droopy eyes often seen in Boxers.
Now our focus is on what matters most: finding the right home for Bandit.
BANDIT NEEDS A CHANCE
We are urgently looking for a suitable foster home or foster-to-adopt/forever home for Bandit.
Bandit needs to be the only animal in the home and cannot be placed with other dogs, cats or other pets.
Because Bandit’s circumstances are unique, we are taking extra care to ensure his next home is the right fit. We are deeply invested in achieving the best possible outcome for him and want to set both Bandit and his future family up for success.
Bandit has already faced more challenges than any dog should. Now he deserves the chance to enjoy a safe, stable and loving future. ❤️🐾
