Lucy Jordan is a big, busy, nose-first kind of girl looking for a foster-to-adopt home that understands life with a working hound!

At just 7 months old, Lucy has energy to burn, a brain that wants a job and a nose that takes its responsibilities very seriously. She's looking for a property where she has plenty of space to sniff, explore and put those natural hound instincts to good use. Hound experience is important for this girl, as she needs people who understand just how driven, independent and enthusiastic these dogs can be.

Lucy can become quite jumpy and mouthy with people when she's excited or overwhelmed, but she's slowly learning better ways to manage all those big teenage emotions. One of the best things for her? Letting that nose work! Once Lucy has completed a thorough grid search of the grass, investigated every suspicious smell and sniffed everything silly, she's much better able to regulate herself and settle.

She would be a great candidate to live with another suitable dog and could really enjoy having a canine companion alongside her. Because of her size, energy and current mouthy behaviour, Lucy is looking for a home without young children.

Lucy isn't a suburban couch potato in the making. She's a high-energy, working gal who needs space, appropriate outlets for her incredible nose and people who genuinely enjoy everything that comes with sharing their life with a hound.
