About Charlie
Charlie is a female cat available for adoption in Liverpool (Sydney, NSW).
Charlie is a gentle, affectionate cat who talks in soft meows and settles into long naps on your lap.
Once she feels safe, she comes fully out of her shell to see what's going on and join right in, she just needs a few quiet moments with new faces first.
Charlie loves being close: a shoulder to hold onto, a ping pong ball to chase, a warm lap to sink into.
A little about Charlie:
🐾 Chases ping pong balls and loves a good string chase
🐾 Asks to be picked up and held against your shoulder
🐾 Keeps a simple daily rhythm of naps, meals and gentle play
🐾 Has the most endearing owl eyed stare
🐾 Feels most at ease in a calm, steady household
Charlie's days follow a simple, contented rhythm: wake up, ask for breakfast, play a little, nap, repeat.
She's an independent cat who still loves company, happiest curled up somewhere close to you rather than demanding constant attention.
One of her favourite rituals is a shoulder cuddle, climbing up for a hold the moment she wants closeness.
With familiar people, Charlie is completely at ease, meowing for attention and settling into laps for long stretches.
She brings that same warmth to new people too, it just takes her a few quiet minutes to feel comfortable before she comes over to join in.
Once she's settled with you, she's all in: gentle, loving, and happy to be close.
Charlie would do well in a calm, steady household where she can settle in at her own pace.
She'd suit an experienced cat guardian who understands that a little patience upfront leads to a deeply affectionate companion.
A home without a resident dog, and plenty of quiet corners to retreat to, would help her feel most comfortable.
Charlie is up to date on her vaccinations and in good health, with nothing to manage day to day.
She has a lovely, easygoing nature that comes through best in a low key home, the kind of place where the routine stays gently predictable.
Picture mornings with Charlie curled at the end of the bed waiting for breakfast, and evenings with her tucked against your shoulder as the day winds down.
A ping pong ball rolling across the floor with Charlie in hot pursuit is a daily kind of joy.
Charlie is ready for a home built around gentleness and patience, the kind of place where she gets to be fully herself.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
