Hi, I’m Maggie May — a beautiful 7-year-old Rottweiler x Golden Retriever with a heart full of love and a gentle, soulful nature. I’m the kind of girl who will greet you as though you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me, every single day. People are truly my favourite thing in the world, and I’ll happily soak up every pat, cuddle and moment of companionship you’re willing to give.

I’m just as content relaxing inside with my people as I am stretching my legs and enjoying the outdoors, so a home where I can have the best of both worlds — with nice, secure fencing — would be perfect for me. I really thrive when I’m included in everyday life, whether we’re relaxing together, enjoying some time outside, or I’m simply keeping you company while you go about your day.

I’m a friendly and social girl, but when it comes to other dogs, I prefer to keep things simple. I would be happiest as the only dog in my new home, where I can soak up all the love and attention for myself. I do have a cheeky chasing streak, so I’m also best suited to a home without cats or small pocket pets.

Because I can find certain situations a little overwhelming, I may need some extra support and reassurance from my people during things like vet visits or other unfamiliar experiences. Having someone I trust by my side helps me feel safe and secure, and I’m looking for a family who understands that sometimes I just need a little patience, encouragement and a whole lot of love.

If you’re looking for a devoted best friend with a whole lot of love to give, I promise I’ll be your biggest fan. I’ll be there to greet you, keep you company and remind you every day just how special you are.
