Dawaandi is a very friendly, loving and playful little guy with a wonderfully goofy personality. He loves being around people, having a play and generally being involved in whatever is going on. He’s an affectionate, happy pup who is sure to bring plenty of laughs to his future family.

Dawaandi and his eight siblings have come a very long way to find their forever homes — quite literally! Originally from NSW, the nine pups and their mum were taken in to be euthanised. Thankfully, a wonderful lady stepped in and rescued the entire family before contacting us for help.

After a huge effort figuring out the logistics of getting eight puppies across the country to WA, they’re finally here, safe, and ready to begin the next chapter of their lives.

Their mum is a typical dingo in both appearance and behaviour, while dad is a camp dog (dingo cross) who displays considerably more domestic-dog behaviour — including happily coming when called, even while running around at the beach! We expect Bingo and his siblings to inherit a mixture of traits from both parents, and their individual personalities will continue to develop as they grow.

While Dawaandi may be an adorable, goofy puppy, prospective adopters need to remember that he is not your typical puppy. As a dingo cross, his needs and behaviours may differ from those of a domestic dog, particularly as he reaches adolescence and adulthood.

His forever family will need to be prepared to provide appropriate enrichment, training and plenty of interaction. Secure dingo-appropriate fencing may be required, and homes with small pets may not be suitable due to the potential for prey drive as he matures.
