About Sol
💜 Sol — Purple Collar
Sol is our little all-rounder.
She's confident enough to hold her own amongst her siblings, while still being incredibly sweet, people-focused and eager to please. She's a girl who genuinely wants to connect with her humans — and preferably have their attention directed at her! 😂
Sol loves affection and isn't shy about making sure she gets her fair share. She's curious, engaged and has shown a lovely balance of confidence and softness.
We think Sol has lots of potential for a family wanting a dog they can really build a relationship with. She'll benefit from continued training, socialisation and individual time away from her siblings, where her eagerness to engage with people can continue to flourish.
Shared background of the litter:
These four special pups had a pretty unusual start to life. Their mum, a lovely-natured Cattle Dog, was found living in bushland with her four puppies when they were approximately 5–6 weeks old. The little family had to be trapped and brought into the pound system before spending some time with a foster carer in a rural area.
Mum has since shown what a beautiful girl she is, settling easily into foster care with a lovely temperament. Dad is unknown, although a Wolfhound-type dog was reportedly trapped in nearby bushland, so we suspect he may potentially be the father.
The puppies have now moved to Sydney where they are getting plenty of individual attention, exposure and opportunities to build their confidence. Having spent their earliest weeks surviving together, they can be quite competitive around food and resources when all four are together. Separately, however, we're seeing four very sweet little personalities emerge.
They are also enthusiastic little gardeners who don't just investigate plants — they try to eat them! This may be a throwback to their early bush upbringing, but their future families will definitely need to puppy-proof the garden.
We expect them to grow into medium-to-large dogs. We would ideally love homes with a friendly, well-balanced resident dog who can be a positive role model as they continue learning about life.
Please note: This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
