About Willow
Meet Willow!
Willow is a gentle 3 year old who is ready to leave her rough past behind and settle into a cozy forever home. This sweet girl was originally found surviving on the streets with her two kittens, working hard to protect her little family before being found and brought to our shelter. After spending some time with a loving foster carer, she came such a long way and became a total snuggle bug.
Willow is part of our Rescue or Rehome program because she has found the shelter environment very overwhelming and stressful. She can still be quite timid when meeting new people or adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings, and she will need a patient adopter who can give her the time and space to feel safe. Once she realizes she is in a secure, low-pressure environment, her loving and affectionate personality is sure to shine through once again.
Willow has grade 2 dental disease, but has not needed any veterinary treatment so far. She would benefit from eating good quality dry food, lots of dental treats and routine check ups at the vet to prevent this from progressing.
Willow's foster carer says: "Willow is the sweetest, most affectionate girl. She will paw at you when she wants pats and attention. Quirk: she loves drinking water from the tap so I'm sure she'd love a water fountain in the future. She's still quite playful but she'd honestly prefer to just have someone to hang out with and cuddle."
Willow is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment. If you can open your heart and home to Willow - or if you're a rescue group able to help - please reach out to us at adoptions@dogshome.com
