Hi there, I’m Bud, a young pup on the search for a place to call my own. In my new home I will thrive if I have the opportunity for a good routine of sleep, eat, play, and short positive training sessions to help me learn. I have found that other dogs are some of my favourite people—sniffing, wagging, and tumbling with them fills my day with laughter. I adore play, but sometimes I get a little overexcited and have a hard time knowing when to stop. I’m learning and with a calm, patient leader I will settle into the moment. I crave quiet moments too—a warm cuddle after a big romp. I should sleep about 16 to 20 hours a day, because growing up takes its rest. I’m generally well adapted to new places and people, and I’m happy indoors or outdoors, as long as there’s a friendly face nearby to greet me. I’m best with a family who understands a lively pup and can offer steady guidance. I should stay away from homes with pocket pets or birds, as I get a thrill out of chasing them. I’m happiest with children aged 12 years or older, who can match my energy and help me learn good manners. If another dog joins our home, slow, careful introductions and shared quiet moments will help us all feel safe.
