About Leah (On Trial)
Pinky and leah went on trial 9/9. Please consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au. . I'm leah, a purebred female cavalier king charles spaniel approx 4 yo. I have a beautiful nature and love nothing more than cuddles and more cuddles. I love going for walks and i walk really well on the lead. I'm a little overweight but my foster mummy is working hard to help me lose some kilos. . . I would be best suited to a home where there is someone home most of the time or another dog for me to be with. I like to be inside around others. I am very easy going and i have been getting on very well with the other three dogs at my foster home. I was never toilet trained so i am working very hard on this, i can use the doggy door without a problem so i don't think it will take me long to get the hang of going outside. . . I am in foster care with my nearly identical friend pinky (also a female cavalier http://www. Petrescue. Com. Au/view/121150 ), who is also looking for a new home. So if you were thinking of getting a pair of dogs we are already a perfect pair. . . *** please see more photos of me at http://tinyurl. Com/dogsnew *** (if clicking the above link doesn't work, copy and paste it into your web browser). . . If you would like to meet me (and/or pinky) please contact my foster mum janet on 0410-489-019 or darren 0411-155-284 or email janetcaffery@yahoo. Com. Au (phone is preferred). We are in thornton, nsw (near newcastle) and are available for adoption interstate. . . Dog rescue newcastle www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Our adoption fee covers the dog's desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. . . About the breed: "the cavalier king charles spaniel is highly affectionate, playful, extremely patient and eager to please. As such, dogs of the breed are good with children and other dogs. Cavaliers are not shy about socialising with much larger dogs. They will adapt quickly to almost any environment, family, and location. Their ability to bond with larger and smaller dogs make them ideal in houses with more than one breed of dog as long as the other dog is trained. The breed is great with people of all ages, from children to seniors, making them a very versatile dog. Cavaliers are naturally curious and playful, but also enjoy simply cuddling up on a cushion or lap. "
