Pepper

Pepper is a beautiful little girl with a gentle soul. She is still shy and may run away or hide when she feels unsure, particularly around new people or unfamiliar surroundings. With time, patience, and a calm approach, Pepper is gradually building her confidence and showing more of her sweet, playful personality.

Pepper will need a quiet room or dedicated space of her own when she first arrives, giving her somewhere safe to decompress and settle in without feeling overwhelmed. A consistent routine, plenty of cosy hiding places, and the freedom to approach at her own pace will be essential. Her adopter should be prepared for this settling-in period and understand that trust may develop gradually rather than immediately.

Pepper absolutely adores other cats and gains great comfort from having feline friends around. She would love a home with a calm, friendly cat who can help her feel secure and show her that people are not so scary. A peaceful household without young children would suit her best, as loud noises and sudden movements can frighten her.

As Pepper feels safer, her playful side really begins to shine. She loves string toys and enjoys chasing and pouncing on all kinds of toys. She also enjoys curling up in soft, cosy beds, exploring scratchers, and retreating to hideaways when she needs reassurance. Pepper is a big fan of treats too and is not particularly fussy about which ones she receives. Seeing her emerge from hiding, play with confidence, accept treats, or choose to spend time near you will be a special reminder of the trust you are building together. With patience, kindness, and understanding, Pepper has the potential to become a happy, confident companion and helping her discover that life can be safe will be an incredibly rewarding journey.
