Looking for a sweet, slightly quirky companion who will happily make you the centre of his world? Meet gorgeous Paw Paw!

He may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him some gentle love, a few scratches, and a little time, and he’ll soon show you his affectionate side. Once he decides you’re his person, be prepared to have a furry little shadow following you everywhere - so closely, in fact, that you may need to watch your step! Pawpie has a very special talent for turning himself into a tripping hazard simply because he wants to be near his favourite human.

One of his favourite things in the world is a slow belly rub (something that’s quite the rarity in the cat world!). He also firmly believes that the human bed is the best bed in the house. Despite being offered five perfectly good cat beds, he has made his decision very clear: why sleep there when the humans have a perfectly comfortable bed?

When he’s not curled up beside his person, you’ll often find him enjoying some quality television time. His favourite? Birder King - because nothing beats settling in for a little bird-watching from the comfort of home.

This handsome boy would ideally be the only cat in his new home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. He hasn’t particularly enjoyed sharing his space with other short-term foster cats, although he hasn’t yet been tested with careful, slow introductions, so his feelings toward another cat may depend on the circumstances.

At heart, he’s a gentle, affectionate boy who just needs someone willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace. Give him patience, love, and a comfy spot on your bed, and you’ll have a loyal little shadow who thinks you’re the best thing on earth. ❤️
