About Trigger
Trigger is a beautiful 4-year-old German Shepherd who is looking for a loving new home.
Trigger's previous owner taped her mouth shut to stop her from barking at night. Despite what she has been through, Trigger is a lovely girl who loves being with people and is looking forward to finally having the caring home she deserves.
Trigger would be best suited to a home with older children. She has previously lived with another German Shepherd and may be suitable to live with another compatible dog.
Trigger is ready to leave her past behind and find a family who will love her and treat her as part of the family. Could you be the one to give this beautiful girl the happy future she deserves?
Trigger will do best with an experienced German Shepherd or large-breed owner who understands the breed and is prepared to provide her with the structure, consistency and clear boundaries she needs. A calm, stable home and patient guidance will help Indi continue to grow in confidence and settle into her new life.
She is looking for a family who will give her time to adjust to her new surroundings, while providing the love, guidance and companionship she deserves.
Trigger has seen cats through a window and doesn't care about them, so might be suitable to go to a home with cats.

Trigger is currently available for adoption in NSW, ACT, Queensland and Victoria. If you're interested in making her a cherished member of your family, you'll need to drive with your loved ones to meet her. Should she, for any reason, not be the perfect fit for your family, you would be responsible for either bringing her back to Sydney or helping us rehome him from your home.

Adoption details
To apply for a dog you can either click on the Enquire about the dog and we will send you an application form, or you can go to our website and complete an online form.

We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
