About Paddy
Paddy is amazing!
A little shy when you first meet him but once Paddy gets to know you, he is simply wonderful. He will need someone who is willing to give him time, patience and plenty of reassurance while he settles into his new home. And settle he will!!
There is one thing you should know about Paddy — he loves pats. Actually, adores them! Pats are definitely the way to win over this sleek, ever-so-handsome man. Once you start patting him, his motor switches on, and he will often roll over asking for belly rubs.
It’s just going to take Paddy a little time to get to that point with you but once he feels safe and trusts you, you’ll discover what a beautiful boy he really is.
Paddy would suit a mature, quiet household and is looking for a home without young children.
If you think Paddy could be the handsome boy for you, please complete the online adoption application under his profile. If your application is successful, one of our volunteers will be in touch to arrange a meet and greet.
Paddy is in foster care in Emu Heights, Western Sydney.
Best with Children Aged: 12 years +
Adoption details
STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW: I will come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3) and microchipped and will have up to date worm and flea treatments.
ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me and have given me a lot of care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from our foster carers & pounds. If you would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent.
All adoptions will require a Pre-adoption application form completed and returned prior to a meet & greet with our cats. Please note that several people may be applying for the same cat so we need time to review all applicants. We do not re-home to the first to apply, we re-home to who best suits the needs of the cat or kitten. All applications will be considered individually and approval will be at the discretion of the AWL NSW Branch Representative, with their decision being final.
