Scruffy

Meet Scruffy, an older gentleman with a wonderfully scruffy appearance and a very sweet nature.

We don't know much about Scruffy's past. His weathered, scruffy looks suggest he may have spent some time living the street life, but whatever his story, one thing is certain - he deserves to be loved and cared for.

Scruffy would benefit from some good care, a cosy bed, regular meals and, most importantly, the chance to discover what it feels like to be truly loved and safe.

He may need a little time and patience to settle in, but with kindness and gentle care, we're hoping Scruffy's sweet personality will blossom. There is nothing quite like watching an older cat realise that life can be warm, comfortable and full of love.

He might be a little scruffy around the edges, but we think he's pretty handsome underneath it all - and his heart is even more beautiful.

Sruffy's ideal home looks like one that can give him the patience and love he needs. His journey may be a little longer than other cats, as he can be anxious and scared and he will need a dedicated home that understand, these things can take time and may not be smooth sailing straight away. It will take one special person or family, and we just know Scruffy will learn to trust and thrive in a safe and comfortable home.

Scruffy deserves a forever home where he can put his past behind him, curl up in a cosy bed and finally know that he is safe, wanted and very much loved.

Scruffy is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment.
