About Oliver
Meet Oliver: The Gentle Giant with a Heart of Gold ❤️
At 8 years young, Oliver is proof that the best dogs only get better with age. This handsome Bull Arab has left his wild puppy days firmly behind him and is now all about enjoying life's simple pleasures: a good run around the yard, quality time with his people, and plenty of affection.
Oliver is a true gentleman. He has mastered polite lead walking, making daily strolls a peaceful and enjoyable experience. He's also well past the stage of jumping all over his favourite humans to say hello. Instead, you'll find him happily trotting alongside you or soaking up pats whenever they're on offer.
Despite only having one eye, Oliver doesn't let that slow him down one bit. He takes life's challenges in stride and approaches each day with a calm, loving nature. While he enjoys the occasional play session with other canine friends, Oliver would much prefer to be the centre of attention at home. After all, why share cuddles when you can have them all to yourself?
If you're looking for a loyal companion with a gentle soul, impeccable manners, and endless love to give, Oliver could be your perfect match. This sweet senior is ready to spend his golden years by your side, filling your home with companionship, devotion, and plenty of tail wags.
Could Oliver be the missing piece of your family? 🐾💙
Please note: Oliver will be available for bookings from the 20/08/26. And will not be ready for meet and greets prior to this date, For Oliver we welcome bookings in advance.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
