Adoption information
About Harry Hotcakes!
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- At home as often as out, or have a doggie companion for Harry
- Grassed yard for his zoomies
- Children over 8 years
Harry is a character; he makes you laugh as he is always carrying things around - but the funniest is his food bowl. He trots around the house with his empty bowl and finally plonks down on a bed with it! He can often be found sleeping with both a toy AND a Bowl! 🤣
He is such a handsome red fawn boy - we just keep taking more pics! 💜
He is always happy to snooze beside you, but he also has plenty of energy for a 5yo and enjoys a daily zoom as well as a good walk.
Harry ticks so many boxes;
🐾 loves attention and pats and just wants to hang out with you wherever you are - with lots of roaching!
🐾 gets excited when you come home and often wants to do a little zoom!
🐾 loves to see the leash come out and is happy to walk down the shops and stand around while you enjoy a coffee
🐾 walks well on leash - happy to do your pace and only pee's once or twice!
🐾 enjoys meeting other greyhounds and has been on social greyhound walks
🐾 happy to completely ignore other breed dogs when out walking - even if they growl through the fence at him, and has been friendly with any dogs he has met
🐾 lives with another greyhound and enjoys a daily play together, as well as a game of chasey
🐾 can jump in the car and travels really well
🐾 toilet trained and sleeps through the night, only getting up when you are ready to leave your bed
Given a chance Harry will be your snuggle buddy and your best friend. 💜
We think he may not suit full-time workers unless he has a medium/large doggie companion.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
