About Mr Morris
šŗ Mr Morrisās Personality:
Mr Morris is a handsome, mature ginger gentleman with a calm, affectionate nature that wins hearts instantly. Heās friendly, gentle, and enjoys the company of people and other cats alike.
This big boy loves a cuddle and leans into affection with quiet confidence. Heās playful in a soft, understated way, and his steady temperament makes him a soothing presence in any home. Mr Morris gives affection as generously as he receives it ā a truly loving companion with a warm, loyal heart.
š” Mr Morrisās Ideal Forever Home:
At 8 years old, Mr Morris is past the chaos of kittenhood and ready for a peaceful, predictable life. He would thrive in a quiet home where he can relax without being startled or overwhelmed by young children or energetic dogs.
He enjoys gentle company, cosy routines, and being part of a calm household. Mr Morris gets along well with other cats, so a feline friend would be welcome ā but he would also be perfectly content as the only pet, provided he has humans who enjoy spending time with him.
His ideal family is one that appreciates a mature, affectionate cat who brings comfort, companionship, and character to every day.
šMr Morrisās Rescue Story:
Mr Morris came to us from Port Macquarie Animal Shelter after being surrendered by his owner, who found themselves in difficult circumstances. The shelter wanted to help him, but due to some medical concerns, they were unable to proceed with adoption ā their budget simply couldnāt support the ongoing treatment he needed.
So Mr Morris came to Sweet Pea, and we are so pleased he did.
When he arrived, Mr Morris was suffering from Hornerās Syndrome, likely caused by an untreated ear infection. Early reports suggested he *may* have sustained a serious head injury, but once in our care, it became clear that his symptoms were linked to his ear issues.
With proper treatment, medication, and consistent veterinary care, Mr Morrisās condition has improved significantly. His eye has strengthened, his comfort has increased, and his gentle personality has been able to shine through without the burden of untreated pain.
𩺠Mr Morrisās Medical History:
Mr Morris has received thorough veterinary care since arriving with us. His ear infection has been treated, and his Hornerās Syndrome has improved markedly as a result.
He is:
- Desexed
- Vaccinated
- Microchipped
- Treated for fleas, ticks, and intestinal worms
He may require monitoring of his ear health in future, but he is currently comfortable, stable, and ready for adoption.
š More on Mr Morris:
There is something deeply special about Mr Morris - a blend of resilience, sweetness, and quiet charm that makes him unforgettable. He has weathered hardship with grace, and now heās ready for a home where he can finally settle, exhale, and enjoy the gentle life he deserves.
If youāre looking for a mature, affectionate, friendly (BIG) ginger boy who will reward your kindness with unwavering love, Mr Morris may be your perfect match.
Medical notes
Mr Morris has had an ear infection, but it has resolved.
