About Knox
Knox is a 10-month-old Siberian Husky and an absolute big doofus with a huge personality! He is fun-loving, energetic and always ready for his next adventure. His excitable nature means he will need an active family with older children who can keep up with him and help him learn to slow down. He would be best suited to a home without cats or small pets.
With People: Knox loves people and is full of excitement when meeting them. He can be a little too enthusiastic with his greetings, so he will need patient guidance and positive training to learn his manners.
With other dogs: He enjoys canine company but can become very excited when meeting other dogs. Calm, positive introductions and continued training will help him develop better greetings.
Health: Knox is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
Best suited to a family familiar with the breed and who can confidently meet their physical, mental and training needs.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
If you are interested in meeting one of the dogs available on our adoption page, please visit our Adoption Webpage https://www.salisbury.sa.gov.au/services/pets-and-animals/dogs/dogs-available-to-adopt-foster and complete an adoption application or contact City of Salisbury on (08) 8406 8222.
Once your application has been received, we will be in touch to discuss your application and the next steps. This includes organising a meet and greet so you and the dog can get to know one another.
If there are children or other dogs in your household, we ask that a second meet and greet be arranged. This allows for a dog-to-dog introduction and helps ensure your resident dog is also happy with your choice of companion.
Please note that some dogs may require further training and may be too energetic for families with very young children. Our team will guide you through the best options to suit you and your family and help match you with the right dog.
If everything meets your expectations, we will work with you to complete the required paperwork and payment so you can take your newest family member home.
