About Honey
Honey is a sweet, playful girl who has come such a long way on her journey. She can be a little unsure of unfamiliar people at first, but with patience, understanding and positive experiences, she is growing in confidence every day. Honey is completely ball obsessed! Her favourite thing in the world is chasing and playing with a ball, and this is a great way to keep her happy, engaged and build a strong bond with her people. Honey has also shown that she can enjoy the company of other dogs and would benefit from careful, positive introductions to suitable canine friends. Honey recently enjoyed a respite day and did wonderfully, taking everything in her stride, a fantastic milestone that shows just how far she has come. Honey will thrive with a patient and understanding family who can continue to build her confidence through positive, low-pressure experiences.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
