🎶 Hey friends, I’m Flo Rida — and yes, my name comes from the moment the vets shaved off my severely matted coat and discovered my little “boots with the furrrr” hiding underneath!

I’d been visiting an SCA member for months asking for food. Once I trusted them enough for a microchip scan, they realised my coat was in a painful state. The vets performed a full body shave under sedation, and after no owner came forward, I officially joined the SCA family. I’ve since had my desexing, microchip, and vaccinations, and I’m ready for my next chapter.

I’m a confident, friendly lad who loves being near my humans. I’m not sure whether I’m a lap cat just yet, but if you hold me like a baby and give me scritches, I melt — maybe it’s all this fresh regrowth making me extra appreciative! I’m not fussed about toys, but I’m a great companion who’ll sit close and keep you company like a very relaxed hype man.

I’m beautifully behaved indoors, love looking out the window, and have no interest in escaping. I’ve met one of the resident cats through the door — she was dramatic, I was not.

I’m a champion with my litter tray, love fresh water, and I’m extremely food motivated… I’ll happily bury my face in the food box if you don’t stop me.

I’m untested with kids and other pets, but I’m very people friendly, calm, and adaptable.

I tested negative for FIV/FeLV and have been an inside only kitty since. I should be kept inside or in an enclosure to keep me (and the wildlife!) safe and healthy.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SCA DOES NOT CONDONE ROAMING CATS – when applying to adopt me, it is expected that I will be kept as an indoor only cat and/or in a suitable outdoor enclosure.

All applications will be assessed for suitability and compatibility. Approved adoptions will commence with a two week trial, after which time the adoption will be final and the microchip will be transferred to you.
