Kira delights in the company of other gentle dogs and would thrive in a household with a furry friend. Her composure is complemented by her excellent behavior, ensuring she blends seamlessly into a family dynamic. Kira has an unassuming way of showing affection—she contentedly curls up on a soft bed, quietly observing household activities, simply happy to be near her humans. She’s a perfect-sized companion who relishes in the simple comforts of home but would also appreciate regular brushing and professional grooming session every 4-5 weeks to keep her beautiful coat in top condition.

This lovely girl thrives on a diet of Royal Canin and Ziwi kibbles, supplemented with savory chicken necks and a nutritious home-cooked dinner. 4. Do you currently have any other animals living with you?
If so, please provide details about each animal, including their species, age, breed and personality, and how they generally interact with other animals.

5. Do you have previous experience with Kira’s breed? If not, have you done thorough research into the breed, including its temperament, exercise needs, grooming, training and potential health requirements?

6. Are you familiar with the long-term responsibilities of dog ownership, including training, socialisation, exercise and ongoing care? Are you willing to give Kira the time, patience and support she needs to settle into her new home?

7. How many hours will Kira be left alone on a typical day? Who will be responsible for caring for her during your working hours, absences, holidays or other periods when you are unable to be with her?

8. Are you financially and practically prepared to provide Kira with quality veterinary care, preventative healthcare, grooming and nutritious food throughout her lifetime?

9. Will Kira be considered a member of your family and primarily live indoors, with appropriate access to a secure backyard/outdoor area? Please describe where Kira will sleep and how she will be accommodated overnight.

10. If your circumstances change in the future and you are no longer able to care for Kira, do you agree to contact PFPRI and seek our assistance before making any arrangements to surrender, rehome her?
