About Chloe
🐾 MEET CHLOE — LOOKING FOR HER FAMILY 💕
Staghound x Mastiff | Approx. 30kg
📍Melbourne and Surrounding Suburbs
There are some dogs who come into our care and immediately steal a little piece of your heart.
Chloe is one of them. 🥹❤️
At just six months old, Chloe was abandoned with two other dogs in an empty home on a rural farming property. The people left… and simply left the dogs behind.
Council seized them and brought them to the pound, where Chloe was absolutely shut down. She was scared, petrified and had no idea why her world had suddenly changed.
Thankfully, Chloe came into our foster care network — and what a transformation we have seen. ❤️
Today, this beautiful girl is showing everyone just how wonderful she really is.
✨ Chloe is cheeky.
✨ Chloe is hilarious.
✨ Chloe is affectionate.
✨ Chloe is incredibly sweet and loving.
✨ Chloe is eager to please and learns quickly.
✨ And Chloe is very, very ready to experience LIFE. 🌿🐾
She is a gorgeous combination of her two breeds. She has the adventurous, energetic and playful side of a Staghound, with the gentle, loving, people-oriented heart and demeanour of a Mastiff.
At around 30kg already, she is a BIG girl — and she's still growing into herself! 😍
She absolutely loves being outdoors and enjoys running around with dogs who match her energy. But despite being a young dog, she is not a high-maintenance, constantly-on-the-go dog.
Chloe is actually a lovely medium-energy girl.
She has her teenage zoomies and spurts of energy, but she's also very happy to hang out with you, relax and enjoy some quiet time.
She is:
🐶 Dog friendly
🐱 Cat friendly with a dog-savvy, dog-friendly cat
🚗 Great in the car
🏡 House trained
🚽 Toilet trained
❤️ Very affectionate
🧠 Quick to learn
🌿 Loves adventures and exploring
🐾 Enjoys friendly well balanced canine company
Like any young dog, Chloe still has some catching up to do.
She's learning her obedience skills fast but still needs continued guidance around boundaries.
She can chase birds sometimes — something we're sure will improve with consistent training, structure and appropriate outlets.
And that's where her future family comes in. ❤️
We are looking for someone who will embrace Chloe's potential, appreciate her young soul.
Someone who understands that a young dog needs time, patience, consistency and guidance.
Someone who will take her to training, continue her learning and help her discover how wonderful the world can be.
ℹ️Our charity will support the right family with training through one of our professional dog-training partners
🏡 WHAT CHLOE NEEDS
We are looking for:
❤️ A family or individual who genuinely loves BIG dogs & has experiences with BIG dogs of similar mix
❤️ Someone who is home more often than not
❤️ A secure, fully fenced property — this is non-negotiable
❤️ Someone with the time to help a young dog settle and learn. Someone who enjoys learning alongside CHLOE
❤️ A commitment to ongoing basic training .
❤️ An adventurous family who wants to experience life with their dog next to them.
❤️ Another friendly, well-balanced dog would be a wonderful bonus, particularly an older balanced dog who can provide Chloe with a good canine role model
👧 Children in the home must be 12 years or older and dog-savvy.
Due to Chloe's size, strength and young, playful nature, she is not suitable for families with young children.
Older children who are confident, respectful and understand how to interact appropriately with a large, young dog would be considered.
🚫 Not suitable for apartment living
🚫 Not suitable for someone who is away 8–10 hours every day

Chloe doesn't need to be run like a horse. 😂 think of a mastiff breed kinda energy.
She needs connection, stimulation, structure, training, companionship and love.
And in return?
You will get one of the sweetest girls around.
A girl who has already been through more than any puppy should have — and yet she still wants nothing more than to love her people, make them laugh and be part of a family. 🥹❤️
