Amber is a gorgeous little girl with striking Abyssinian-like colouring and a sweet, gentle personality.
This girl can be a little shy when she first meets you and needs a little time to feel comfortable. But once she gets to know you, her affectionate side shines through.
Before long, Amber will be happily seeking out cuddles and showing you just how much of a little smooch she really is.
Amber loves the company of other cats and particularly enjoys snuggling up with a feline friend. She is also dog-friendly, so she could potentially fit beautifully into a home with a calm, cat-savvy dog.
Amber and her brother Tiger would make a lovely pair, too, if you’re looking to adopt two kittens together.
When she’s not cuddling, Amber is an adorable little character who loves carrying her toys around as though she’s showing them off. She enjoys lap cuddles and will happily settle anywhere warm and cosy.
Amber also loves treats, especially freeze-dried ones, so there’s an easy way to win her heart. She has a wonderfully healthy appetite and is not at all fussy about food.
She is litter trained and uses clumping sand-based litter. She’s even completely unfazed by the robot vacuum.
Because Amber is naturally on the shy side, she would be happiest in a quiet, settled home where she can take things at her own pace. A busy household, lots of loud noises or young children may overwhelm her, so she would be best suited to adults or a family with older, calm children who understand that she may need some time to settle in.
Once Amber feels safe, you’ll discover a loving, affectionate little girl who adores cuddles, warm spots and feline companionship. A patient adopter who gives her the time and reassurance she needs will be rewarded with a very special companion.

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. We’ll be in touch!
2. If your application is successful, we’ll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carer’s home.
3. We ask that you pay the nominated fee to us via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit (preferred), or in cash. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
4. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty upon adoption. Your adoption fee includes a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership that is completed by us online two weeks after the adoption.
