Medical notes
The vet has said the following about Luna -
Hip dysplasia on left side… possibly due to trauma and bad treatment in the past this causes her pain if she does too much exercise!
Right knee cap is dislocated but has been for ages and can’t be popped back - DOES NOT CAUSE PAIN!
Left knee cap - does dislocate and you can see she pops her leg out to straighten it. This can be typical genetic thing for the breed.
We have medication for ONLY WHEN SHE NEEDS IT ! So if she goes for long walks or in really cold weather if she seems uncomfortable!
Vet said she is 18.4kg but could do with being on the leaner side of 16kg. Less pressure is always better!
Her teeth will need to be looked at again and reassessed in 6-8months - just her front canines. There is definitely some grinding down of the teeth He said there is no urgent rush on this as no nerves are exposed but it would definitely be something to consider further down the line. We are looking at cleaning them up for now and try and strengthen them with bones and dental chews!
This pup has soooooo much life to give and love to share she is not in constant pain and needs someone who will just support her and let her live out her life!
