Meet Vera: The Secretly Sweet Detective Vera is a sleek, young black cat named after the famous crime detective. Just like her namesake, there is a lot more to Vera than meets the eye! She wears a mysterious, reserved exterior, but underneath lies a beautiful soul waiting to unfold.
The Twist: What she shows on the outside and who she really is are completely different.
The Routine: She takes her time investigating her surroundings and evaluating her humans.
The Breakthrough: Once she cracks the case and knows she is safe, her true, affectionate personality blossoms.
Her Ideal Case FileThe Vibe: A patient, quiet, and understanding household.
The People: Family members who value her independent spirit and won't rush her.
Cat Friendly: Yes! She enjoys the company of other feline friends.
Dog Status: Untested. She would likely prefer a dog-free home or a very calm, cat-savvy dog with slow introductions.
Why You'll Love Her
Watching a reserved cat blossom under the influence of love and patience is one of the most rewarding experiences a pet parent can have. Vera is looking for that special someone who will cherish her timeline and celebrate every small milestone of trust.

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
