Rufus is a happy, easy-going boy with a gentle nature and a love for being close to his people. One of his favourite things in the world is curling up on the bed for a good night's sleep, and he'll happily soak up all the companionship you can offer. As a former puppy farm dog, Rufus is now discovering how wonderful life as a cherished family member can be.

Rufus enjoys the company of other dogs and takes a lot of confidence from having a canine friend around. Because of this, he is looking for a home with another friendly dog to help him continue learning about the world. He's also cat-friendly, making him a great fit for a multi-pet household.

On walks, Rufus is a pleasure to take out and about, enjoying exploring at a relaxed pace. He is still learning his toileting skills and adjusting to life in a home, so he'll need a family willing to be patient, consistent, and supportive as he continues to build his confidence and learn household routines.

Rufus is seeking an adult-only home with someone around much of the time, as he loves company and thrives on having his people nearby.
