Adoption information
About Duke
He is cheerful, friendly and active and has not shown any signs of aggression. He does love company, and going for a ride in or on the back of the vehicle. He enjoys a run around the dog park, and shows good recall in a contained environment.
He seems (on limited exposure) to be pretty neutral to other dogs, and not particularly interested in them.
He shows some signs of training, and sits to command when he has got over his initial excitement.
At first he may be a bit boisterous for a family with a small child, but I think would respond well and settle down given time and care.
He loves his food!!
I think he would suit an active outdoor life, and would respond very well to love and company, especially if a ute was involved : )
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
We have an open and flexible approach to prospective owners: we can provide pictures, general descriptions etc. including general behavioural assessments. We usually do not microchip (if required) or desex animals until confirmation of acceptance by new owners. Except in exceptional circumstances we do not provide 'trial periods'.
